Nicole Riley, MS, CCC-SLP received her Bachelors Degree at Georgetown University and subsequently earned her Masters at New York Medical College in Speech-Language Pathology. Nicole previously worked as the Director of Speech-Language Pathology at Barlow Respiratory Hospitaland Research Center, a long-term acute care facility that specializes in medically complex populations including tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients. She was instrumental in developing and implementing new protocols, performance improvement strategies, and providing comprehensive education to clinical staff. Through her leadership,the Passy-Muir Valve was made a standard of practice for all patients, including those on mechanical ventilation. In addition, she has experience in acute, sub-acute and skilled nursing facility settings.
